Product Description

This bundle pairs Prenatal Core with Gut-friendly Iron in one order, so you can add Iron whenever your body's nutrient demands shift, from conception, through pregnancy, and into breastfeeding.

What's inside the Prenatal Core:

Quatrefolic® Methylfolate. The active, body-ready form of folate, used directly without the conversion step common MTHFR variants slow down.

Choline. A nutrient most pregnant women fall short on, included at a meaningful daily dose rather than a token amount.

Triglyceride-form Omega-3. High purity IFOS™ five-star certified fish oil tested for heavy metals.

DimaCal® Calcium and chelated minerals (Magnesium, Zinc, Copper). Gentler on the stomach and better absorbed than oxide or carbonate forms.

Core multivitamin complex (Vitamin D3, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Biotin). Rounded out at doses matched to pregnancy intake guidelines.

Methylated B-Vitamins, B12 and Active B6. The coenzyme forms your body uses directly, without needing to convert them first.

MenaQ7® Vitamin K2. A longer-acting form that keeps blood levels steady.

Each daily serving includes:

AM Sachet

  • AM Capsule
  • Choline Capsule

PM Sachet

  • Two PM Capsules
  • Omega Softgel
  • Calcium Tablet

What's inside Gut-friendly Iron:

Ferrochel® Ferrous Bisglycinate Chelate. A gently-absorbed, clinically studied form of iron chosen to be easier on the stomach than standard iron salts, while still delivering a meaningful daily dose.

60 servings of Iron

  • One iron capsule a day or as directed by your healthcare provider

Not intended for use in children. Keep out of reach of children. Accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six, contact a doctor or poison control centre immediately if suspected.

How To Use

AM Sachet: Take with breakfast or a morning snack, with food and water.

PM Sachet: Take with dinner or an afternoon snack containing some fat, since several of these nutrients (and the Omega-3) are better absorbed alongside a fat-containing meal.

Iron Capsule: Take on an empty stomach with water or with a small snack if that doesn't agree with you. Take at least two hours apart from your PM sachet as the Calcium in the PM sachet reduces how much iron you absorb if taken together.

We know pregnancy and motherhood rarely come with a perfect eating schedule. If you need to, take each sachet or capsule with whatever meal or snack fits your day rather than skipping it.

Safety and Interactions

Prenatal Core safety and interaction:

Allergens: Omega-3 softgel contains fish oil and bovine-derived gelatine.

Please consult your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare provider before use, especially if you are taking any regular medication.

Do not take the Prenatal Core if you have any of the following, unless advised otherwise by your doctor:

  • An allergy to any active or inactive ingredient
  • Wilson's disease or another condition affecting copper metabolism
  • Kidney impairment, kidney stones, hypercalcaemia, hypercalciuria, or renal osteodystrophy with high blood phosphate

Speak to your doctor before taking Prenatal Core if you have:

  • A previous pregnancy affected by a neural tube defect, or a known homozygous MTHFR mutation. You may need a prescribed high-dose folate supplement in addition to (not instead of) our Prenatal Core
  • A bleeding disorder or take blood-thinning medication
  • A heart condition or take heart medication
  • A phosphate imbalance
  • A thyroid condition, or are on thyroid medication
  • Any other chronic medical condition, or take prescription medication regularly

The three most important medication interactions:

  • Warfarin or other blood thinners that manage clotting
  • Antacids (take at least 2 hours apart as it reduces nutrient absorption)
  • Aspirin or other antiplatelet medication

This is not an exhaustive list. Please refer to our full Patient Information Leaflet for more detail. These interactions are based on the known pharmacological effects of the ingredients. We have not conducted formal interaction studies on this product.

Gut-friendly Iron safety and interactions:

Allergens: Contains rice protein as an inactive ingredient. If you have a known rice sensitivity or allergy, avoid this product.

Keep out of reach of children. Not intended for use in children. Accidental iron overdose is a leading cause of fatal poisoning in children under six, contact a doctor or poison control centre immediately if suspected.

Please consult your doctor, pharmacist, or healthcare provider before use, especially if you are taking any regular medication.

Do not take Gut-friendly Iron if you have any of the following, unless advised otherwise by your doctor:

  • An allergy to any active or inactive ingredient
  • An iron overload condition (e.g. haemochromatosis, haemosiderosis)
  • Anaemia not caused by iron deficiency (e.g. haemolytic or aplastic anaemia)
  • Had repeated blood transfusions

Speak to your doctor before taking Gut-friendly Iron if you have:

  • Any chronic medical condition, or take prescription medication regularly

The three most important medication interactions:

  • Calcium supplements, including our Prenatal Core (calcium reduces iron absorption so separate by at least 2 hours)
  • Antacids or proton pump inhibitors (reduce iron absorption so take at a different time)
  • Levothyroxine (iron may reduce absorption so separate by at least 4 hours)

This is not an exhaustive list. Please refer to our full Patient Information Leaflet for more detail. These interactions are based on the known pharmacological effects of the ingredients. We have not conducted formal interaction studies on this product.

Benefits

Prenatal Core benefits:

Brain, Nerve & Eye Development
Methylfolate, Choline and DHA support your baby's brain, nervous system and eye development from the earliest stages. Folate also helps reduce the risk of neural tube defects when taken from before conception.

Blood & Energy
Folate and B12 support red blood cell formation as your blood volume rises by almost half in pregnancy, helping support your energy levels.

Thyroid & Metabolism
Iodine supports normal thyroid hormone production for both you and your baby, while Chromium contributes to normal macronutrient metabolism and supports the body's use of carbohydrates.

Mood & Wellbeing
EPA-rich Omega-3 and B Vitamins support mood, mental clarity and everyday energy through pregnancy and the postpartum months.

Bones & Muscle
Calcium, Vitamin D and Vitamin K2 support your baby's bone development. Some studies suggest Magnesium may help reduce leg cramps in women who are low in magnesium.

Immune & Antioxidant Defence
Zinc, Vitamin C, Vitamin D and Selenium support your immune system through a pregnancy that naturally lowers your defences, while Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Selenium also act as antioxidants.

Gut-friendly Iron benefits:

Oxygen Transport
Iron is a core building block of haemoglobin, the protein that carries oxygen from your lungs to every tissue in your body, including your growing baby.

Red Blood Cell Formation
Iron, alongside Folate and B12, helps your body produce healthy red blood cells to keep pace with your rising blood volume in pregnancy.

Cognitive Function
Iron contributes to normal cognitive function, supporting concentration and mental clarity, especially when correcting a genuine shortfall.

Reduced Fatigue
When iron runs low, so does your energy, since iron is essential for delivering oxygen to your muscles and brain.

Immune Support
Iron contributes to the normal function of your immune system, supporting your body's natural defences at a time when pregnancy already places extra demands on them.

Third-Party Test Results

Every batch of our Prenatal Core is tested by an international independent lab, covering microbial safety (bacteria, yeast and mould), heavy metals (including lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury), and Listeria, which carries particular risks in pregnancy.

Every batch of our Gut-friendly Iron is tested for heavy metals (lead, arsenic, cadmium and mercury). Testing scope reflects a risk assessment specific to each product's format and manufacturing process. The Iron capsule's single-ingredient, single-step process carries a different microbial risk profile than the multi-component Prenatal Core.

Testing is conducted by Light Labs, an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.

Frequently asked questions

We take our supplements seriously

Product

Why isn't the Prenatal Core a single tablet?

We prioritise efficacy over tablet count. This means formulating for impactful dosages and highly bioavailable, gentle nutrient forms. These forms are often bulkier and occupy more space in a capsule. They also require strategic separation for optimal absorption, so we split them into morning and evening doses. To minimise the fuss for you, we pre-pack our capsules, tablets and softgels into twice-daily sachets.

Why does the Prenatal Core include Choline?

Choline supports your baby's brain and nervous system development, but most standard prenatals leave it out entirely or include only a token amount. Most pregnant women fall short of the recommended intake through diet alone. We include it at a meaningful daily dose as its own capsule in the AM sachet. In combination with the average diet, our Choline capsule puts women within the recommended daily intake.

Why should I switch to Moment's Prenatal Core?

Most women are doing one of two things. They're taking a single mass-market prenatal that leans on token doses of the expensive nutrients, misses key ones like Choline or Omega-3, and uses cheaper forms that are harder to absorb. Or, they've built their own stack, a basic prenatal plus an Omega-3, Magnesium, and a Choline, to get what one product doesn't deliver alone. Both have trade-offs: the first compromises on what actually reaches your body; the second is expensive, complicated, and easy to skip.

Our Prenatal Core is one product using bioavailable forms (Quatrefolic® Folate, chelated minerals, Methylated B-Vitamins) at evidence-based dosages all in two sachets a day. You can also decide if and when you want to add Iron.

Why should I switch to Moment's Gut-friendly Iron?

Standard iron supplements (like ferrous sulphate) are often poorly tolerated. They're a common cause of constipation, nausea and stomach discomfort. Ferrochel® ferrous bisglycinate chelate is a gently-absorbed, clinically studied form designed to be easier on the stomach while still delivering a meaningful daily dose of elemental iron.

Ferrochel® is a registered trademark of Balchem or one of its subsidiaries.

Why is Iron sold separately?

Not every woman needs extra Iron. Some already get enough from their diet, and others now top up through other methods, like sprays or IV drips, rather than an oral capsule. Keeping our Iron separate means you can buy it and take it only when you actually need it. It also avoids the absorption competition between Iron and the Calcium included in the PM sachet.

When you do need it, consider our Gut-friendly Iron. We use Ferrochel® Ferrous Bisglycinate, a gentler, chelated form that performs like a much larger dose of standard Iron, without the nausea and constipation iron is known for. Because it's single-ingredient, it's easy to stack as its own dosing event between your AM and PM sachets, ideally on an empty stomach or with a small snack, so nothing else interferes with how well it's absorbed.

How does Moment decide on its dosages?

Every dose is set by the research, not by what looks good on a label. Where a nutrient has good evidence at a certain dose, that's what we use, and where the safe upper limit is narrow, like Iodine, Selenium or Vitamin A, we stay well within it rather than push the ceiling.

We also avoid two shortcuts common in this category; token doses, where an expensive nutrient is added in an amount too small to do anything, and megadoses, where a bigger number is used to look more impressive without added benefit.

What are patented ingredient forms, and why does Moment use them?

Some of our ingredients use specific patented forms like TRAACS® minerals, Quatrefolic® Folate, MenaQ7® vitamin K2, DimaCal® calcium and Ferrochel® ferrous bisglycinate. These forms are typically backed by their own bioavailability and stability research, and are chelated or buffered in ways designed to improve absorption and reduce stomach upset compared to standard forms. We use them where the evidence supports better real-world uptake, not as a default.

TRAACS® is a trademark of Balchem Corporation or its subsidiaries.

Selenium Select® is a registered trademark of Sabinsa.

Quatrefolic® is a Registered Trademark of Gnosis S.p.A.

MenaQ7® is a registered trademark of NattoPharma.

DimaCal® is a trademark of Balchem Corporation or its subsidiaries.

Ferrochel® is a registered trademark of Balchem or one of its subsidiaries.

Is the omega-3 free of heavy metals? What is IFOS™?

IFOS™ (International Fish Oil Standards) is an independent, third-party testing program for fish oil purity and freshness. Our Omega-3 holds their five-star rating, the highest awarded, meaning it's been tested and verified free of contaminants including heavy metals like mercury, PCBs, and dioxins.

Why do fishy burps happen, and how can I avoid them?

Some people experience a fishy aftertaste from fish-based Omega-3. This happens when the oil starts to break down in their stomach before it's fully digested. It isn't a sign of poor quality on its own, it can happen even with high-quality, fresh fish oil like our IFOS™ five-star certified Omega-3, although it's much less common.

To avoid fishy burps, try taking your PM sachet with a meal that contains some healthy fat; like avocado, nuts, olive oil, or dairy. This helps because fat triggers the digestion that moves the oil through your system efficiently, rather than letting it sit. For the same reason, it's better to take your PM sachet with dinner rather than right before bed, and to stay upright for a while afterwards. Lying down or bending over soon after can push the oil back up, which is what causes the aftertaste.

Why does the calcium tablet have less elemental calcium than some other prenatals?

Most women consume enough calcium through dairy. Our calcium tablet acts as a top-up to supplement the requirements of pregnancy. Our tablet uses DimaCal® Calcium Malate, which provides less elemental calcium per tablet than cheaper forms like calcium carbonate, but is designed to be more reliably absorbed, is gentler on the stomach and has a lower likelihood of causing constipation.

This results in better real-world calcium uptake despite the lower number on the label. If you're avoiding dairy or other calcium-rich foods, talk to your doctor about whether you need additional calcium beyond what's in Prenatal Core.
