Daily tracker

After taking each sachet, twist the lid of your canister to mark the day you last took it. It's a small but impactful ritual that keeps your supplement routine on track and means one less thing for you to remember.

On the go

Slip a sachet in your bag and take it with you. Unlike pill organisers, which expose supplements to oxygen, humidity and light, the sealed sachet keeps your dose fresh until the moment you open it.

FOUNDER USED PRODUCT

FIRST CUSTOMER AND CO-FOUNDER

We built the prenatal
I had been looking for

It hadn't been a quick road to pregnancy, and by the time I was,
I wanted to give my body and baby the best possible start.

I found myself standing in aisles comparing labels, second-guessing
doses, never quite sure I'd got it right. It meant months of taking five
different supplements just to get the quality and dosage I needed.
So, we worked with various experts across maternal health
and complementary medicine and built the prenatal that
I had been looking for.

Now I have a prenatal I trust, recommend and take every day,
even now, while breastfeeding.

EXPERT REVIEW

"A great formulation
I'm really happy to see in the market"

Hannah Kaye - Director at Inspire Health

On AM & PM sachets

"From a supplement perspective, it's very difficult to fit everything a pregnancy multi needs into a single tablet or capsule, and when brands try, it's usually the nutrient forms that get compromised for the sake of space, meaning poorer absorption. Splitting the formula across AM and PM sachets means Moment uses forms that your body is much more likely to safely utilise."

On ingredient forms

"Magnesium as TRAACS bisglycinate, methylcobalamin B12, P5P B6, and Quatrefolic folate are all forms the body can actually use, especially important in pregnancy when methylation demands increase. Zinc and copper as bisglycinates minimise the gut irritation some other forms cause, which is helpful when the risk of nausea from supplements is high. I also love that choline gets its own capsule, addressing a nutrient most prenatals often skip."

On Iron being optional

"Iron is separated out, so you're not stuck taking a fixed dose regardless of your ferritin, and Ferrochel is gentle enough for sensitive stomachs."

Easier for your body
to absorb and use

We use active vitamin forms, already in the state your body uses directly, so there's no conversion step to depend on and nothing lost along the way. We use minerals chelated to amino acids instead of oxides, carbonates or sulfate salts, which absorb more completely, so a smaller, sensible dose does the work a much larger dose of a standard mineral would. Our omega-3 is in triglyceride form instead of the cheaper ethyl ester most others use, so more of what's on the label actually reaches you.

Gut-friendly

Impactful while still being
gentle on the stomach

Prenatal supplements have a reputation for nausea and constipation. Ours doesn't. Every mineral in Moment is in a chelated form, which absorbs steadily without needing strong stomach acid and is significantly gentler on the digestive system than the oxides and carbonates most supplements use. Even our iron, usually one of the trickier minerals, comes with 64% fewer digestive side effects.

Science-backed

Science-backed
dosages and forms

Every ingredient is included at a specific dose and in a form backed by human research. Where the evidence is strong, we say so. Where it has limits, we say that too. We don't chase the biggest number on the label, or add ingredients just to have them there. If it's in Moment, there's always a clear reason for it.

Frequently asked questions

We take our supplements seriously

Product information

What does bioavailability mean?

Bioavailability is how much of a nutrient your body can actually absorb and use, as opposed to how much is printed on the label. Cheaper forms like magnesium oxide or ferrous sulfate pass through the body largely unused, and often cause the stomach upset that gives supplements a bad reputation. We use forms like chelated minerals, Quatrefolic® Folate, Triglyceride Omega-3 and Methylated B-Vitamins because they're absorbed more efficiently and gently, so more of what's in the sachet ends up doing something for you.

Quatrefolic® is a Registered Trademark of Gnosis S.p.A.

Why isn't the Prenatal Core a single tablet?

We prioritise efficacy over tablet count. This means formulating for impactful dosages and highly bioavailable, gentle nutrient forms. These forms are often bulkier and occupy more space in a capsule. They also require strategic separation for optimal absorption, so we split them into morning and evening doses. To minimise the fuss for you, we pre-pack our capsules, tablets and softgels into twice-daily sachets.

Why should I switch to Moment's Prenatal Core?

Most women are doing one of two things. They're taking a single mass-market prenatal that leans on token doses of the expensive nutrients, misses key ones like Choline or Omega-3, and uses cheaper forms that are harder to absorb. Or, they've built their own stack, a basic prenatal plus an Omega-3, Magnesium, and a Choline, to get what one product doesn't deliver alone. Both have trade-offs: the first compromises on what actually reaches your body; the second is expensive, complicated, and easy to skip.

Our Prenatal Core is one product using bioavailable forms (Quatrefolic® Folate, chelated minerals, Methylated B-Vitamins) at evidence-based dosages all in two sachets a day. You can also decide if and when you want to add iron.

What if my gynae recommended a different prenatal?

Your gynaecologist's recommendation is a reasonable starting point, though it's often a practice default rather than a choice tailored to your specific needs. Most doctors are willing to review an alternative if you raise it directly, so it's worth a brief conversation.

Our products are formulated to a standard that withstands scrutiny: manufactured at a SAHPRA-licensed facility, using evidence-based dosages and ingredient forms supported by published research, with third-party testing for safety.

Why is Iron sold separately?

Not every woman needs extra Iron. Some already get enough from their diet, and others now top up through other methods, like sprays or IV drips, rather than an oral capsule. Keeping our Iron separate means you can buy it and take it only when you actually need it. It also avoids the absorption competition between Iron and the Calcium included in the PM sachet.

When you do need it, consider our Gut-friendly Iron. We use Ferrochel® Ferrous Bisglycinate, a gentler, chelated form that performs like a much larger dose of standard Iron, without the nausea and constipation iron is known for. Because it's single-ingredient, it's easy to stack as its own dosing event, ideally on an empty stomach or with a small snack, so nothing else interferes with how well it's absorbed.

Ferrochel® is a registered trademark of Balchem or one of its subsidiaries.

How does Moment decide on its dosages?

Every dose is set by the research, not by what looks good on a label. Where a nutrient has good evidence at a certain dose, that's what we use, and where the safe upper limit is narrow, like Iodine, Selenium or Vitamin A, we stay well within it rather than push the ceiling.

We also avoid two shortcuts common in this category; token doses, where an expensive nutrient is added in an amount too small to do anything, and megadoses, where a bigger number is used to look more impressive without added benefit.
